Skip Bin Loader
Designed for fitting to rigid chassis trucks
The MacDonald Johnston Skip Bin Lifter has been designed for fitting to rigid chassis trucks. They are used to pick a load up in a level plane from the ground onto the truck for transport, enable the load to be tipped, or unloaded back onto the ground. The 'extra reach' (ER) option of some models means that containers can be loaded right to the front of the platform and then doubled up from behind, creating extra flexibility when dropping off and picking up.
In most cases (dependant on container configuration) it is possible to stack and double up to eight (empty) containers at one time.
Almost any type of load can be made to suit this system, from open containers and compaction bodies; just to name a few.

Fast Facts:
- The demountable horizontal Skip Bin Lifter machines are designed and rated to be installed to chassis with G.V.M of 9,500kg to 16,000kg
- Wheelbase specifications range from 3.4 to 4.8m
- Within these parameters, the Skip Bin Lifter machines are rated to have a maximum capacity to pull- on tip containers, with a gross mass of between 4,000kg to 8,000kg subject to machine model and configuration
